Exercise 21: Making figures anonymous

In terms of the brief for the exercise I think the one of the fishermen with the Havana skyline behind is the most successful "primarily about the place, but in which one or more figures play a subsidiary role to show scale and to give life" although I guess this was meant to have more close up focus on place...

I had fun though thinking about how to make people more anonymous and my favourite is probably the blurred night shot with Matt rolling past in his wheelchair.  I really like the feel of it and the colours.

  1. I think you've got some excellent atmospheric images. Can't comment on how they fit the brief as I don't know it, but they certainly convey a sense of the feel and smell of a place to me.

  2. I think that the man with the hat, eyes shaded and the trombone player silhouetted are the best as regards artistically hiding the identity of the subject.

    Also, I like them all.
